Einstein is trying to get through that the modern instruction, or standards, take away the student's (mainly the world's youth) wonder; the curiosity,the want, the drive to know something; he's saying instead of intruiging our youth's curiosity to know, we are destroying it by forcing our youth to learn, thus destroying the youth's strive to learn new or try to discover new things.
