If you couldn't tell, we love the literary device alliterations. Tuning in to our Facebook page, each day is given a descriptor starting with the letter of the day of the week.
Some of what you'll see is:
Marvelous Magnificent Magical Musical Monday
Tap to the Tempo Tuesday
Wonderful Whimsical Wednesday (Write Words Wednesday)
Triumphant Tubuluar Thursday
Fantastic Fruitful Fabulous Friday
Song on the Spot Saturday
Super Sensational Spectacular Soulful Sunday
Why do we do this, you may ask? Well, we believe in using a literary device like this for a few reasons:
1. It helps practice saying words that are tongue twisters. This helps young children and those who have trouble speaking really think about what they're going to say and articulate it in a way for others to hear and comprehend.
2. It flexes our creative muscles in finding fun, positive descriptive adjectives to apply to a particular day of the week. This also encourages whoever is tuning in to think creatively and remember what day of the week it is.
3. It's just plain old fun to add something silly to each session. Being silly is A-OK in our book and we hope you feel the same.
So, as we start our day today, let's have some fun with playing along to the rhythm on this 'Tap to the Tempo' Tuesday.
