Tremendous Thursday

Thursday--one day closer to the weekend. And, what's even cooler is that we have a fresh coat of snow on the ground (3-5 inches) from a small weather system overnight. For us in central NJ, we've seen the most snow in the last 2 weeks than we have in the last 3 years combined.

We, for one, really enjoy the snow and can't wait to enjoy it during and after a storm. From building snowmen to having a snowball fight to making snow angels to shoveling the sidewalk/driveway/walkway to sledding/snowboarding/skiing, there are so many fun winter activities to do.

Whether it is falling nicely on the ground or coming down like there's no tomorrow, there is something so serene about snow. It is picturesque and reminds us of a simpler time in life when we were young. When we had an actual snow day where we didn't have to go to school or do any work. When all we had to do was worry about when it was time to come inside to have a nice cup of hot chocolate to warm our bodies up before we went back outside for another round.

Let us not forget what it is like to see snow for the first time or see it through a child's eyes. There is something special about either scenario, and something we ought to cherish.

With all this being said, enjoy the snow on this Tremendous Thursday!
