March 25th: Today, we are 9 months away from Christmas! Why are we already talking about this? Because Christmas is a time of anticipation, joy, and celebration. It is a reminder that we not only can give a physical gift but the gift of our presence to those we love and those who love us. It is a yearly reminder that it is a good thing to have something to look forward to..to look at the beauty of the world around us and not take it for granted. It is a great time to reflect upon how we can be better versions of ourselves, and start to take necessary steps to work towards that. It's a shining light amidst the darkness and cold of winter.
All in all, it's a wonderful time we have at our disposal. Let's make the best ouf ot it and really savor in the moment rather than 'wishing the holidays were over already' (we've heard this way too many times from various people over the years). We don't know your situation. We don't know your dailys struggles or sufferings. But, we do know that we only have 1 life, so why not make it the best we can through the time, energy, and gifts we've been given? What else do we have better to do than this through love?
So, Happy March 25th, and keep looking forward to bigger and better things, because the grass is greener not just on the other side, but right in front of us, too.
