Happy National Eat-What-You-Want Day! Yes, this is really a thing, and we hope you are able to take advantage of this to the fullest extent possible. Now, we are not saying go hog wild and eat to the point of regurgitation or eat only junk food all day long. That would not be good for your physical well-being at all. What we are saying is that maybe today is a day to try out something you've never had before...or treat yourself to a meal you haven't had in a very long time but thoroughly enjoyed.
It's not just about eating what you want, per se, but thinking about this idea of eating as a special occasion. After all, we only get so many meals in our lives. There is a finite number, so we might as well do our best to cherish the meals we do have by trying out new things, treating ourselves to something we enjoy but haven't had in a while, all the while sharing this time with close family and friends.
