Happy 1st Day of Summer (June 21st) and National Music Day! We didn't know about the second one until a few days ago, but definitely knew about the first day of summer. What are you doing to celebrate both? Maybe listening and/or singing along to your favorite song about the summer today (ours would be something Reggae like 'Three Little Birds' by Bob Marley or 'Kokomo' by The Beach Boys)? Maybe going to the beach or in the pool if you have one? Maybe just relaxing at home in the nice A/C? Maybe you're doing what you do every day for your normal daily routine?
Whatever the case may be, let us take a little extra time today to recognize how lucky we are to be able to celebrate a day like national music day and the summer without having to worry too much about anything life threatening on the horizon. There are so many places and people in the world that don't have this luxury. If you're reading this, you most likely do since you have an internet connection, enough free time to read, and know how to read.
