Since we are all about making a positive difference in the lives of those who have developmental disabilities or who are neurodiverse, we can't help but share in the joy of Autistic Pride Day, which is today. To be clear, this day is advocating for those with Autism to be proud of who they are, and not being put in a proverbial box of seen as something less than ideal/desirable/worthy of accomplishment and achievement. We couldn't agree more! Everyone should have an equal opportunity to be themselves and not be ashamed of who they are, disability or not. To learn more about this day, feel free to check out:
