Since when does anyone need an excuse to sing? If the spirit moves you, then by all means, sing!
It doesn't matter who you are--from the poorest of the poor to the highest member of government (IE: the queen), if something inspires you enough, it is hard to contain this joy within you. We must have an outlet for it, and a healthy one at that. And, that outlet can very much be singing. What's great about this is you can do it at a moment's notice...it can happen wherever, whenever,however, and with whomever you so desire. Singing for the win!
