National Neighborhood Day

Today is National Neighborhood Day. And, you know who better to say it then Mr. Rogers. Of course, he'd say, 'Won't You Be My Neighbor?' And, he'd also say, 'it's a beautiful day in the neighborhood'. Let us never forget our neighbors. They are people who are physically near us in the event something crazy or catastrophic happens in our lives. We can and should lean on them for help in times of trouble.

In going a step further, everyone can be a 'neighbor' to us. All we have to do is be open to inviting them into our lives. If you lend someone a hand, it's only common courtesy that they will do the same. It's a give and take, a ying and yang, if you will.

So, let us make everyone our neighbor. After all, we are all neighbors on Planet Earth. We're all living in this thing called 'life', so we might as well help each other out when duty calls.
