Turning 38

It's been a few days since we've written anything here. There's been a lot going on the past couple weeks, and we've been letting it all sink in. There's been a lot of conversations surrounding in-person sessions instead of virtual sessions, scheduling changes happening last minute (which is quite stressful), parents of individuals we serve and support being unhappy with things that are out of anyone's control, and parents/guardians not filling out necessary documents that need to be on file in order to start or continue sessions. Not only that, but we've experienced some illnesses over the last month, so it's safe to say when everything is added up, it has been quite challenging to say the least.

Now, we're not complaining about this, but rather bringing up the fact that life has its challenges, and we have to deal with them, adapt to them, and find creative ways to problem solve in real-time. This makes for a great adventure and journey throughout life. Is it stressful and less than ideal at times? Yes. But, it can be equally as exciting, joyous, happy, and inspiring at the same time.

All of these thoughts and more have been flooding our minds this week as our Founder/CEO turned 38 years old on Thursday. Another year around the sun. Another year older. Birthdays make us reflect upon the last year with the hope that this upcoming year will be better than the last. Life isn't always easy, but as long as we fight the good fight, if you will, and spread as much love, positivity, hope, peace, and happiness with everyone we cross path's with each and every day, then we can rest our heads at night knowing we did our part in making the world a better place. This is the good stuff of life, and something we ought to be striving to do with our time here on this Earth.

Happy Saturday :)
