Here we are--the 10th month of the year. Can't believe we are in the last quarter of 2022 already. It feels like this year has really flown by, and, yet again, maybe it hasn't. You see, time is a man-made construct. God, who created the Universe and everything/everyone in it, lives outside the confines of time and space. This is why the age old saying of, 'it happens in God's time' is so poignant, true, and remarkable. It really does. Who's to say that a second is really truly a second? Or, a minute is really truly a minute? An hour an hour? A day a day? A week a week? A month a month? A year a year? And, so on and so forth. Remember the great song lyric from Rent's song, 'Seasons of Love'. In the song, the writer specifically counts the number of minutes in the span of a year (525,600 minutes). What is amazing is that he does so as it pertains to love. This is how we ought to measure everything in life--love. Not by how much money we make. Not by how many cars we own. Not by the fancy clothes we wear. But, by love.
It should always be about love.
Let us not forget that today or any day.
