Lots of Updates

Hi there! It's been awhile since we posted on the blog, and felt we ought to update you on some neat happenings since our last post back in March. 1. Our Founder/CEO Jim Gaven won the Kindred Choice Award through Kindred Ministries. We are still waiting to hear about the Contemporary Male Artist category, but we know for sure he won this other award. It is such an honor to be recognized by this regional organization who highlights and supports artists from NJ, PA, DE primarily writing and recording songs in the Christian/Inspirational/Gospel genres. 2. The 'Song on the Spot' songwriting workshop we co-lead on Thursday evenings has written several songs over the last 9 months, and this culminated in a performance on June 3rd at Hopewell Presbyterian Church. We are so proud of those who participate in the group. In addition to this, our group, 'The Helping Hands' has released an EP of original music from last year's songs called, 'Thursday Night Sessions'. 3. Key of Awesome Music has been running assemblies at 2 special needs/behavioral needs schools the second half of the school year. Mary Dobbins School as part of Legacy Treatment Services (every week 2 class special music program mixed with a once a month assembly) and Burlington County Special Services School District monthly assembly for the Transition Campus. These assemblies are a fun and different, albeit new adventure in our programs.
