John 3:16

March 16th, 3/16. For some of us, the numbers 3 and 16 have no significance. For others, it has great significance. Here is what it means to us:

John 3:16: For God so loved the world, as to give his only begotten Son; that whosoever believeth in him, may not perish, but may have life everlasting.

In case you don't know what this is, it is a verse from the bible, The Book of John, Chapter 3, Verse 16. There were some wrestlers who used this number on their shirts. And, you'll see this number pop up like this every so often in public, on a billboard, or in an advertisement: 3:16.

Why is this verse so important and so widely promoted/praised? Because it is the acknowledgment that there is a higher power that exists in the universe, God, and that if we believe and act like He exists, we will enter the kingdom of Heaven without reservation for eternity. Profound to say the least, right? We encourage you to really think deeply about this verse and what it means to and for you. Could this be something you just brush off as another thing to add to the laundry list of things you have to think about on a daily basis (and you'll get to it eventually) or could this be an immediate call to action (change) in your life?
