Easter Monday, what is it? It's a day of celebration in the Roman Catholic/Christian religious traditions. Of course, it is the day after Easter, which is a joyful, triumphant day in and of itself. So, the celebration continues into the next day. After all, a man, both human and divine, rose from the dead on Easter, so that is not something to take lightly. Maybe another day to celebrate is in order...
But, we digress. Whatever religion or faith you choose to follow, it is a remarkable, miraculous, insert any amazing adjective here, moment in history. Let us remember and reflect upon the magnitude of what the man known as Jesus Christ, Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews, did 2021 years ago this past Friday, and, yesterday. To lay down your life, by paying the ultimate sacrifice, to save all of mankind from its sins. Talk about a huge responsbility, burden, a cross, if you will. And, he did it so willingly so as to fulfill all the prophecies and follow God's plan exactly. There is great humility to learn from this self-less act of service to the world.
Have a great day!
