Hallelujah, He Has Risen! It is Easter Sunday, and if you are a Roman Catholic/Christian, you believe in the Resurrection of Jesus Christ (now 2021 years ago). In modern times, this can sometimes be forgotten as the Easter Bunny tends to steal the headlines and grab the spotlight (at least for children). However, the real reason for the season, the season of Lent, like Christmas, is Jesus Christ. He is, was, and always will be the center of it all.
As a matter of fact, we base the concept of 'time' (in years) on before Jesus was born (BC or Before Christ) and after Jesus was born (AD or Anno Dommini). That's how important of a person he was, still is, and always will be, for humankind. Scholars, historians, philosophers, scientists, and theologians have not done with this anyone else in the history of the huamn race. That is really saying something.
Let us take this time to reflect upon how vital it is to take up our crosses so as to bear the burden of the responsbilities in our lives so as to become stronger, more aware, and inspirational to ourselves and everyone we cross path's with throughout our days on this Earth. After all, this is what Jesus did when he was alive in human form when we walked on this planet some 2021 years ago. Do we really have anything better to do?
Happy Easter!!!
