The Ascension

Today, the Feast of the Ascension is celebrated (it happened on Thursday of this week). In the event you are unaware, this day is the recognition of Jesus Christ 'physically departed from Earth by rising into Heaven, in the presence of 11 of his apostles. According to the New Testament narrative, the Ascension occurred forty days after the resurrection.' Quite a remarkable sight it must have been for those who witnessed this event. Let us not brush over this as it is a rare thing, in fact, a one-of-a-kind experience since no one else has ever done this before or after He did.
