It feels like monsoon season out there right now here in NJ. Tropical Storm Henri is heading up the east coast and making its way past us as we speak. It rained yesterday, it's supposed to rain all day today, and even into a good portion of the day tomorrow.
When it rains in an extended manner like this, it is good for the soil, it is good for our souls. It's as if we are receiving a 'bath for our souls', if you will. Something from heaven that cleanses not only our bodies but our souls. Can the rain be too much at times? Sure. But, I bet anyone and anywhere who is experiencing a drought, would love to have all the rain. So, again, we have to be thankful for whatever it is that comes our way, saying, 'yes', and learning to dance in it.
After all, we all can experiencing flooding (feeling of overwhelm) and drought (barren, lost in the woods/desert).
