Good Evening Everyone!
It's daylight savings time again. Tonight at precisely 2:00AM, the clocks will turn back one hour, making it brighter earlier in the morning and darker earlier at night. Basically, it means the start of shorter days (until December 21st, the start of winter). The idea of daylight savings time is interesting, isn't it? Why do we do it? I believe it has to do with the Earth in relation to the sun. In other words, we do it to make up for the fact that every 4 years we add a day to the calendar so that it equals the rotation perfectly on that 4th year. Every year leading up to that 4th year is 365 and 1/4 days, technically. But, we digress.
Even though it seems like we're losing an hour of sleep and that it may be difficult to adjust to this missed hour in the first week (especially), let us not get stuck on this idea. Instead, how about we adopt a mentality of openness and willingness to adapt to situations as much as we can in life. This is where much growth and wisdom comes from!
